Hotel in Lofoten at Å Hotell

Hotel in Lofoten at Å Rorbuer

In the old Saltery at Å, new hotel rooms have found their place – where fish was once salted and sent out into the world, you are now invited to rest and stillness.

Stay in the Salteriet

Å Hotell is a hotel in Lofoten, located within the grounds of Å Rorbuer, at the very edge of the sea. Here, the historic Saltery houses 9 newly built rooms, opening mid-April. Raw coastal heritage meets thoughtful comfort, and every material has been chosen with respect for the surroundings. At the same time, the shifting light from the sea reminds you where you are – in the open landscape that embraces Å at the outermost tip of Lofoten.

As our guest, you have access to the entire property and can enjoy meals at Brygga Restaurant, where seasonal ingredients meet the rhythm of the ocean. In this way, your stay becomes more than accommodation in Lofoten – it becomes a complete and meaningful experience.

To stay in the Saltery is to be part of history – with today’s comfort close at hand.
